Minister: Investors to buy below 25% of Russian Helicopters
MOSCOW, Nov 29 (PRIME) – The government may offer no more than 25% of Russian Helicopters for sale, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov told reporters on Wednesday.
“As to the size (of the stake), I think it will be limited by the current free float to below 25%,” he said.
Russian Helicopters is a part of state industrial corporation Rostec. In February, a 12% stake in the company was acquired by a consortium of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and Middle Eastern funds for U.S. $300 million. Rostec said that the consortium may additionally invest around $600 million in the company, and other foreign investors may buy up to 12-13%.
